HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Musawa Local Government Education Authority was established in 1989 from the defunct Kankia Local Government. Alhaji Muhammad Nata’ala Sa’idu is the Education Secretary from 1999 – 2007. There are six zonal offices with headquarters at Musawa, Jikamshi, Kurkujan, Tabanni, Garu and Dangani. Each zonal office is headed by a zonal onspector of Education. The Local Government has two districts at Musawa and Jikamshi.
